Janna Shoe, Licensed Social Worker & Disaster Coordinator for 211 Texas Shoe is the Coastal Bend Outreach and Disaster Coordinator for 211 Texas/United Way Helpline program at United Way of Greater Houston. She provides outreach and education about 211 Texas in the Coastal Bend region serving Corpus Christi and eleven rural counties. She is a licensed social worker and proud Bobcat who received her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Southwest Texas State University. Shoe is a Certified Resource Specialist. Other areas of expertise include national I&R program certification, call center management, disaster response/emergency management services, forming a long-term disaster recovery group, VOAD leadership, and collaborative community-based coalitions.
