Colors on the Map: The counties filled in with green are live and running on either JCMS Basic or TechShare.Juvenile. The counties filled in with pink are in the process of implementing.
Did you know that by the end of the summer all but four Texas counties will be live on TechShare’s juvenile case management system (JCMS)? Right now, there are more than 230 counties (and counting) live on the JCMS basic solution.
In case you’re unfamiliar, JCMS is a comprehensive, state‐of‐the‐art, web‐based technology solution for collecting juvenile justice information, generating meaningful reports, and managing the needs of all local juvenile probation departments in the state of Texas. This solution provides counties with productivity tools, robust data sharing capabilities, strong security and data integrity, and built‐in interfaces with other entities that interact with the juvenile justice system.
It’s important to note that this effort would not have been possible without tremendous support and resources from the Texas Juvenile Justice Department and the product owners in the counties.
Keep up the great work during the remaining implementation efforts! We’re approaching the homestretch.
