This morning, Dallas County Commissioners Court approved moving forward with two TechShare.Court implementation projects, one for the Criminal Courts and the other for the Justice of the Peace Courts.
The Dallas County Criminal Courts will be rolled out in phases, beginning with a pilot program in four courts scheduled for April 2016. The remaining Criminal Courts are scheduled to be live by February 2017. The implementation project is scheduled to be complete by July 2017.
The Justice of the Peace courts will also be rolled out in phases, with the pilot of two courts scheduled for February 2016. The remaining courts are scheduled to be live by May 2016. The implementation project is scheduled to be completed by July 2016.
TechShare.Court is a collaboration between Dallas, Tarrant, and Potter counties to build a county-owned Court Case Management System. The system will facilitate and support the business activities of county and district courts and the associated clerks.
