Join your colleagues from urban counties to get your required continuing education each year at the Urban Counties Education and Policy Conference.  This event will be January 13-15, 2016 at the La Torretta Lake Resort in Montgomery, TX (about 55 miles North of Houston). This conference will feature quality programs specially designed for commissioners, court members, professional staff, and department heads who lead and manage urban counties.  Sessions will include nationally renowned speakers who will engage attendees on a variety of topics relevant to urban county officials and staff.

Specific sessions will focus on public policy challenges, management techniques and theory, and IT solutions all curated specifically for urban counties; including a special track for those involved in the Urban Counties TechShare program.  All sessions will be approved for county commissioners continuing education credit. In addition to relevant and interesting continuing education, enjoy the opportunity to network with your peers from across the state in a relaxed setting, and participate in discussions about issues and challenges facing urban counties.  Get up to speed on current trends and key legislative developments.

TECHSHARE TRACKS: PRODUCT SHAPING & KNOWLEDGE SHARING
